FACT FILE: 2000 Noble M12 GTO

The M12 GTO was what made the company famous. The goal was simple, make a supercar that a normal person could afford, a recipe created by the M10, but the M12 was to take it to another level. So they took the M10, gave it a new body, added a fixed roof, and added twin turbochargers to the 2.5 liter ford duratec power plant. The results were amazing, the low weight of the car, wich weighed less than 1000 KG, gave it near perfect handling, and it had enough speed to keep up with most fast cars ( a 165 mph top speed and 3.9 seconds to 60 ) and at 45,110 pounds it was considerably less expensive than all it's rivals, in 15 years time some people might call this a motoring icon.
